Vision therapy is a progressive treatment plan used to correct or improve specific dysfunction of the vision system through a carefully programmed arrangement of visual challenges, activities or drills. At Foley Vision Center, a highly trained vision therapist will guide you one-on-one through a customized set of visual problem-solving experiences tailored to meet your specific needs. These experiences are created through the use of lenses, prisms and other special instruments.
Vision therapy incorporates "visual awareness", "visual feedback" and action, movement or problem solving. At the final stage of the development, you will have a natural, automatic use of the visual process, allowing you to function more effortlessly in visually demanding activities at school, work, or in sports.
